The Legendary
Tale
of 'One'

How one person completely rewrote the lives of millions, begins with a humble sum of one thousand rupees and a dream to make a difference.

Every drop contributes to building an ocean.

Gujarat is our first step towards an oceanic change. Through years of practice and research conducted by the Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust in Gujarat, we uncovered some startling revelations that had a lasting impact on us. After one of our most extensive research programs, we found that

- 57% of Gujarat resides in rural areas with a significant percentage of the population living with undiagnosed diseases.
- Around 1337 women and 1354 men per 100,000 people in Gujarat suffer from diabetes.
- About 11% of women between the ages of 15-49 have hypertension.
- And, only 0.2% of women in most of Gujarat have undergone a screening test for cancer.
With such appalling findings about the standard of living in Gujarat, we realised it was upto us to take the initiative to revamp the medicare system in Gujarat.

Lilavati in
GIFT City

Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat
A Pivotal Project

Lilavati foundation

Introducing a beacon of healthcare excellence in Gujarat's GIFT City - the upcoming multi-specialty hospital by the Lilavati Foundation. With a commitment to serving communities in need, we are proud to announce our plans to establish a state-of-the-art hospital in this visionary development spanning 886 acres of land. Built on our guiding principles and deep-rooted values, our hospital in GIFT City aims to provide world-class healthcare services, making a positive impact on the health and well-being of the people in this dynamic region.
We plan to construct one of the largest hospitals in GIFT City. After having acquired 5.50 Lakh Sq. Ft. of space, we aim to build a 300-bed hospital that nurtures each life that walks in. With a huge medical staff of 4500 personnel, out of which 800 would be doctors and consultants. Our sincere hope is to take medical care to the next level in India.

Drawing from our roots, ingrained in philanthropy, we seek to create a space that offers unparalleled amenities to all, with 250 census beds, and 50 non-census beds. We plan to designate 20-25% of the hospital to those who need it the most.

Headed by a team of exceptional doctors and state-of-the-art facilities, our goal is to elevate the standard of healthcare for all. It is our vision to leave behind a world where healthcare is a fundamental right, accessible to every individual without exception.

We hope to spread our cause further and rewrite the story of generations and lineages, and transform the healthcare sector of India.
